Even though there is no morse code proficiency required anymore in the Netherlands it is still fun to learn morse code. I learned it during the first half of 2010 and made some QSOs locally on 10 meter. But when I heard M0CUT calling out on 3560 kHz, in a QRS fashion, I decided to take the plunge. Wrong!!! 3560 is the QRP frequency and Steve was fading fast and picking up speed. Nevertheless, we had a QSO and he was so nice to QSL me with a card.

I now found the QRS frequencies and had a nice QSO with SP3JFK on July 1st on 14055 kHz. You can listen to the recording here. If you hear me calling CQ over there, then give me a call back. I can take a basic QSO in 8wpm now.
